Records

Samuel Wadham, Professor of Agriculture at the University of Melbourne, was involved with a wide range of scientific and community organisations, particularly in rural Victoria, including the Northcote Farm School and Tally Ho Boys' Training Farm.

Northcote Farm School

In Series 9 Subject Files, there are records relating to the Northcote Farm dated from around 1943 to 1970. Wadham presumably collected these records in the course of his involvement with the Northcote Farm as one of its Australian 'trustees'. The records include reports prepared for the information of Trustees, about the Northcote Farm, its operations and its students, and memoranda prepared for meetings of the Australian Trustees. There are copies of publications, Principal's reports, photographs, maps, correspondence, school records, and other records that have information about children and staff at Northcote Farm.
