Case Study 30, August 2015, Melbourne was a public hearing of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. It inquired into the experiences of former child residents at Turana Youth Training Centre, Winlaton Youth Training Centre and Baltara Reception Centre between the 1960s and early 1990s. In April 2016, the Royal Commission subsequently published its findings in the Report of Case Study No 30: The response of Turana, Winlaton and Baltara, and the Victoria Police and the Department of Health and Human Services Victoria to allegations of child sexual abuse.
