Bayswater No. 1 Group Home admission and discharge register is an archival series held by the Department of Health and Human Services. At some point following the closure of Bayswater Boys' Home this volume was transferred to the Victorian government.

Records

The Bayswater No. 1 Group Home admission and discharge register documents the admission of male wards of state to the Home, between 1943 and 1950.

The register is a leather-bound volume with a split page format. Admissions are entered in the top half of the page, with discharges in the bottom half. Each page details weekly admission and discharges into and from the home.

  • date of birth
  • religion
  • from where received/how and where discharge to
