The Government Gazette No. 33 holds information about amendments made to adoption laws and rules, which came into effect on 1 May 1970. This is a special issue of the Government Gazette, which contains all the rules and forms relating to the Adoption of Children Act Amendment Act, 1964. Because of the substantial delay in proclaiming the amendments, the Rules were titled, 'Adoption of Children Rules, 1970'. The rules revoked all previous Rules of Procedure relating to adoptions in Western Australia.
