Glenys Collard is a training officer and Indigenous separated child, born 1958, Kondinin. Collard was removed from her family at the age of 2 and placed in Sister Kate's Children's Home, Perth. Eight of her siblings were also eventually sent to Sister Kate's. She describes the living conditions at the Home and treatment during holiday placements and day visits. Collard ran away from the Home at the age of 11. She talks about the effect of family separation on her parents and the continuing effect of removal and childhood mistreatment on her own life.
