Hillcrest Photos is a lever-arch file that contains information and images relating mostly to the Salvation Army's Hillcrest Maternity Hospital in North Fremantle and The Open Door (Hopetoun) Maternity Home that preceded it, but there are references to other Homes operated by the Salvation Army. This file is part of the Salvation Army Heritage Museum WA, Children's Homes Files series of records held at the museum. There are no personal records in the file, but there are images of babies and children.
Access to most items in the file is open, but it is essential to make an appointment to view.
Hillcrest Photos contains information and images that relate mostly to Hillcrest and The Open Door (Hopetoun). However, there is also one item, a services pamphlet from the 1960s, that has information relevant to the Salvation Army's Girls' Home, Cottesloe; the Salvation Army Boys' Home, Nedlands; Withnell House; and Graceville.
