The State Records Office of Western Australia holds a collection of records created by the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, and it's predecessor, the Perth Children's Hospital. The collection includes a number of records relevant to children admitted to the hospital, such as admission and discharge registers, visitors books, operation journals and registers, anaesthetic registers, and orthotics registers. This collection also includes records about nurses and staffing, minutes of the board of management and hospital committees, and records about hospital buildings.
Many of the records in this collection are restricted for 100 years in order to protect personal privacy. For access to these records please contact Child and Adolescent Health Service. For access to open records please contact the State Records Office of Western Australia.
