Description: The 'Homes' Herald was a newsletter of the Methodist Homes for Children. This is a copy of the December 1970 edition. It has a picture of some children playing at Mofflyn and a photo of the front of the Allandale Boys' Cottage at 149 Sussex Street. The news items give a small amount of information about each Home and talk about some planned 'scatter homes'. There is news about the retirement of Matron Roberts and a photo of her with some kindergarten children. The newsletter also appeals for funds, explains how previous support has helped, and lets readers know what more they can do
