Perth Orphanage

Description: 'Perth Orphanage' is a digital copy of an undated image included (p.14) in the Annual Report 1979 of the Department for Community Welfare. The caption reads, 'Former orphanage at 108 Adelaide Terrace, Perth. ' and the image shows the Perth Girls' Orphanage in its second location on Adelaide Terrace (from 1882). It is part of a history of the department, written to celebrate 150 years of European settlement in Western Australia.
