The Genealogical Society's library contains family history and general history resources. The staff can assist with family history research.
The Library's collection includes: almanacs and directories, bankruptcy, birth death and marriage, cemetery, census, church, convicts, court information, electoral rolls, evacuees, directories eg trade, lawyers, post office, family history, genealogy, funeral director's lists, headstones - photographs, inquests, land leases/transactions, local history, mining, newspaper indexes, pioneers, police, police journals, probate, military service, shipping - ships, crew and passengers, some listings of benevolent institutions, year books.
