NSW groups call for inquiry into sexual abuse

Following on from this week’s announcement that the Victorian government will hold a parliamentary inquiry into abuse of child by religious and other organisations, calls are being made for a similar inquiry to be held in New South Wales. Groups including CLAN and Survivors Australia, as well as a NSW Greens MP have called for the handling of abuse allegations to be subjected to the same scrutiny.
