Centacare Catholic Family Services was established in 1992 and replaced the Catholic Family Welfare Bureau. Centacare is a Catholic welfare organisation which delivers a range of welfare services across the Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide. The organisation has a strong focus on social justice and supports people who have been marginalised or who are experiencing hardship. Centacare is responsible for the running of a small number of residential and respite care facilities, primarily for children and adults with disabilities.
