Legislation Empire Settlement Act (1922)

The Empire Settlement Act prescribed the relationship between the State, Federal and other governments in the British Empire. It also dealt with the processes and procedures for immigration to Australia. This Act is especially relevant for the history of child and youth migration to this country.
