These records are held by Sisters of the Resurrection (1891 - current).
Some admission records from St Stanislaus House have been retained by the Sisters of the Resurrection (based in Essendon, Victoria). The records comprise system cards filed alphabetically in a large metal file box labelled: DZIECI W INTERNACIE [translation from Polish: Children in Boarding School].

Information is open to former residents or family members who can prove their relationship to the resident.
The Professional Standards Office does not charge any fees to former residents of Catholic Homes seeking their records.
Contents – Typed cards with: (1) Surname, (2) Admission date, (3) Christian name, (4) Born, (5) Father, (6) Mother, (7) Address and Telephone number, (8) Discharged. Notes on contents – Some cards include other details such as place of birth of child, nationality and religion of parents, parents’ occupations, whether parents are separated or divorced, baptism information, health information, where discharged to. Very occasionally related correspondence is attached. File box also includes some immunisation certificates. Most children are of European background, admitted in the 1950s and 1960s. Some Australian children, none identified as Aboriginal.
