This series consists of 20 registers and indexes recording information about adoptions in Queensland, and can be cross-referenced with further information held in the Adoption Files (Series 1144). The registers are organised in three sections, comprising a list of adopted children, a list of adoptive parents, and the third section containing more details on adoptions including details of adopted children, adoptive parents, and dates of applications and adoptions.
