Child Welfare (Further Amendment) Act 1961, New South Wales


The Child Welfare (Further Amendment) Act 1961 (27/1961) was ‘An Act to make further provisions with respect to payments in connection with, and to prohibit the publication of certain statements relating to, the adoption of children and other persons’. It forbade payments and advertisements for adoptions, and made it illegal for people to arrange adoptions for money. It was repealed by the Adoption of Children Act 1965.
