The Colebrook Tji Tji Tjuta was formed when a group of former residents of the Colebrook Children’s Home came together following the closure of the Colebrook Home in 1981. The Colebrook Tji Tji Tjuta manages records of Colebrook Home
The Colebrook Tji Tji Tjuta played a key role in the campaign to form a permanent memorial to the Aboriginal children who were removed from their families and housed at Colebrook Home. The Colebrook Blackwood Reconciliation Park has two commissioned sculptures, and is located on the Eden Hills site where the Home was formerly located.
