Records

During reboxing work on these files it was realised that connections between some files in this series had been lost, and parts of records had become separated from their original files. It was also discovered that some of these records dated to earlier than first thought, dating back to 1938 rather than 1949.

Quantity: 292 boxes, 1 document.

An index to the Correspondence files, 1945-1969 was compiled by Ken Brindle in 1987. Copies of this index is held by State Archives NSW, the Department of Aboriginal Affairs, and the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies. The index, like the files, is restricted.
