These records are part of Benevolent Society of New South Wales Collection, 1813-1996 (1813 - 1996).
Index To Admissions And Discharges records the name of patients (and births), the name of the institution to which admitted (i.e. Royal Hospital for Women, Renwick Hospital for Infants, Scarba House), the date of admission and discharge and how they were discharged (e.g. home, another institution, deceased). This index ceased to record admissions to the Royal Hospital for Women (and births) at the end of 1932. From January 1932 to April 1936 the index is a general index; from April 1936 to May 1937 it indexes admissions and discharges for Renwick Hospital for Infants and Scarba House.
