The Marriage Act 1867 (No. 15 of 31 Vic, 1867) was passed on 19 December 1867 and commenced on 1 March 1868. Its full title was: An Act to consolidate and amend the Laws relating to Marriages in the Province of South Australia. The Act was amended by Marriage Act 1868-9 (No.5/1868-9) and Marriage Act 1882 (Act No..243/1882) and repealed by the Marriage Act 1936 on 1 May 1937.
