It shows two rows of approximately 8 beds with white embroidered sheets placed along the sides of a long room. Six nurses wearing white aprons and bonnets are standing among the beds. Down the middle of the room are two runner carpets, oil heaters, and palms on plant stands. The room appears light, with narrow windows evenly spaced between the beds.
