Description: This is an image of a parent's accommodation bedroom at Montrose Child Protection Centre taken in June 1979. It shows a bedroom containing a set of bunk beds, a single bed, what appears to be a sofa or day bed, a small table with a television on it, and a basket or bassinet on the floor. This photograph is part of a collection of photographs from children's Homes and Institutions held by the NSW Department of Community Justice. A black and white version of this image is held in the collection of the State Library of New South Wales, linked below. Please note that the State Library of New South Wales collection and the Department of Community Justice collections both include more digitised images of Montrose Child Protection Centre taken by the Government Printing Office, including images of the exterior and interiors of the Child Protection Centre, staff, children and parents.
