This image was published in The Courier-Mail on 13 December 1937, p. 15, with the article ‘Spirit of Christmas Marks Services’. It included the caption: Smiling faces greeted the photographer at the opening of the Catholic Daughters’ Association’s holiday home at Sandgate yesterday. These children were evidently determined to make the most of their holiday.
