These registers record information about children born at the Destitute Asylum on North Terrace, and from 1917 at the Magill Home after the Lying-in (maternity) section moved there from the Destitute Asylum. This register provides details of child born and information about parents. Entries give names of child and parents, date of birth of child, religion, nationality, date of discharge, parents occupations and place of residence, and where gone to on discharge.
