The Maintenance Act 1931 with the full title “An Act to amend the ‘Maintenance Act 1921′” (Act no.22 Geo. V No.43), alters the definition of maintenance order by including an additional definition about the terms ‘means of support’ and ‘adequate means of support’. The definition of other States whose maintenance orders are to be acknowledged under Tasmanian law is also updated. This amendment was repealed by Statute Law Revision Act 1934 (25 Geo. V No.78) on 31 May 1938.
