Registers Of The Arrival And Discharge Of Immigrant Children recorded the monthly arrivals and discharges of immigrant children between 1953 to 1956 and 1960 to 1964. The registers' arrival entries generally give names, ages and whether the child was nominated by an individual or sponsored by an organisation, such as Fairbridge, Big Brother or Dr Barnardo's. The discharge entries give a name, age, type of nomination, and a reason for discharge from the guardian. Statistics separated into three age groups of boys and girls are included.
