Una Clarke was interviewed for the Bringing them home oral history project in 2000. She speaks of her time employed at Kate Cocks Babies' home in South Australia, and her time working as a Methodist missionary on Croker Island (1955-1964). After training in social work, Clarke was employed by the Fostering Section of the South Australian Department of Aboriginal Affairs (DAA) over the period 1966-70. Clarke then worked for the South Australian Department for Community Welfare until her retirement in 1986. In the interview, Clarke reviews her experiences with various organisations including the DAA and speaks about the trauma caused by the separation of families.
