Correctional Services Records, Northern Territory, include information related to the operation of justice facilities for young people in the Northern Territory. The collection includes some documents pertaining to individuals detained in some of these institutions from the early 1970s onwards.
Prisoners, community-based offenders and juvenile detainees are able to request records about themselves by submitting a Freedom of Information request. In some cases, some information may also be able to be released outside of the formal Freedom of Information process.
