The majority of the records of Tascare held by Archives Tasmania are open access, however access to two items within the series Records of the Society (Series Number NS6672) have restricted access. To access any of these records please contact Archives Tasmania. The 'Application for Access to Restricted Records' form will need to be filled out as part of requests to access the restricted records.

A list of records held by Tascare published by Find & Connect in 2012 included the following information regarding two folders which have not been identified in the records of Tascare that were transferred to Archives Tasmania, and the location of which is not currently known:
The list also included annual reports of Tascare and the Tasmanian Society for the Care of Crippled Children, dating from 1938 to 1994, which have been transferred to Libraries Tasmania. For access to these please contact Libraries Tasmania.
