This is an excerpt from a debate in the Western Australian parliament on 27 May 2009. It confirms that the Katanning Residential College (also known as St Andrew's Hostel) had struggled to maintain enough students since the 'issue' 15 years ago that had 'blighted the attractiveness of the institution.'
