Description
Royal Commission to Inquire into the Public Service of New South Wales examined the operation of the State Children's Acts and the provision of child welfare in New South Wales. The Report mentions a number of government-run institutions and was concerned with how children were classified upon entering the child welfare system and therefore which institutions they were sent to. The Report also investigated the boarding-out system.
