Description

Anne and Leoni Greig's recollections of the New South Wales Protestant Federation Girls' Home after their father took them to be raised there in 1940. They describe the routines, school at Canterbury Public and Canterbury Central Domestic Science School, church (a different Protestant church each Sunday) and jobs and entertainments. They also describe renovations to the old house, Tinonie and their after career. The sisters are involved with an Ex-residents of the NSW Protestant Federation Girls' Home Group, which formed in 1987: 'we mostly agreed that we had been well looked after'.
