Admission Forms (dates uncertain) relate to St Joseph's Girls' Home. The forms contain the following information: child's name; date and place of birth; religion; date and place of baptism; vaccination record; father's name, address, occupation, date and place of death and religion; mother's maiden name, address, occupation, date and place of death and religion; name, address, relationship to child and signature of person seeking to have child admitted; reasons for seeking admission; and maintenance agreement.

Physical access to the original records is not possible due to their fragility and the need to protect the privacy of others mentioned in the records.

Records

CatholicCare Adoption Services in Bankstown took control of the records of the Sisters of St Joseph in January 2013. When CatholicCare became Family Spirit in 2018, control of the records became through Family Spirit. All requests for information in relation to former residents of Lane Cove should go to Family Spirit.
