Special Bundles are a series comprising 7 registered files with an ‘A’ prefix, which possibly may be from the Chief Secretary’s Department correspondence. The files deal with specific matters such as the management of reserves, Kinchela Lower and Kinchela Aboriginal Schools, appointments to the Aborigines Welfare Board. Much of the file for Tabulam Aboriginal Reserve relates to the provision of school services at the Reserve. The files include correspondence relating to the Proclamation for the Aborigines Protection (Amendment) Act 1940 and newspaper clippings. There is one file that relates to an Aboriginal ward.
