The Dr Dill Macky Memorial Home for Children records and pictorial material, 1910-1983 is a manuscript collection in the Mitchell Library. It comprises 17 boxes and 14 volumes of textual and pictorial material.
Some material in this collection is closed to public access because of confidential and personal information, according to the State Library of New South Wales' Sensitive Collections Material Policy.
Individuals have the right to access restricted information about themselves. After making a request to the Library, the individual must provide photographic identification with a current address.
People can also request access to restricted information about direct family members or other individuals.
The collection includes 1 box of 20 photographic prints of people and buildings.
The records include financial records, board meeting minutes and correspondence.
The records restricted to public access include admission and discharge records, particulars of chidlren's illnesses and other records relating to children in the Home.
