Objects : 1 shaped triangular silver trowel bordered by wriggle work and a band of foliage with flowers. Octofoil haft rises to ivory handle with 3 circular bands and button finial. ; 27.5 x 8.5 cm.
'Home of Hope, Stanley Street, Camperdown' is listed in the Sands Sydney Alphabetical Directory 1895.
Made by Samuel Hardy, London (U.K.) in 1888. Marks: SH, queen's head, date letter 'N', leopard's head, lion passant, 'Hardy Bro[s] Sydney'.
