Lunacy (c. 1860 - c. 1930)

The term lunacy was introduced into Queensland along with the law of New South Wales. The Lunacy Act of 1869 does not define the term "lunacy", however it is described in the Mental Hygiene Act of 1938. The description reads:

The word and its derivatives mean unsoundness of mind or mental sickness
