The Quaker Marriages Act (No 4 of 25 and 26 Vic, 1862) was passed and commenced on 21 October 1862. Its full title was: An Act to amend the Acts relating to Marriages in the Province of South Australia by extending certain provisions thereof to persons professing with the Society of Friends called Quakers. This Act amended the Marriage Act 1842.
