The Prisons Act Amendment Act 1954 (Act No.22/1954) was passed on 11 November 1954 and commenced 11 November 1954. The Principal Act was repealed by the Correctional Services Act 1982 on 19 August 1985. The Prisons Act Amendment Act 1954 was amended by Act No.121/1974.
