Records held by AnglicareSA is a collection of records dating from 1948 to 1990, and includes information about children's Homes run by the Church of England in Australia and Tasmania and, later, the Anglican Church of Australia. The collection consists of admission and discharge registers, case notes, meeting minutes, Matron's reports, communication books, diaries and financial records.
For access to records related to former Church of England and Anglican Children's Homes please contact the Privacy Officer. Requests for records need to be made in writing and proof of identity provided. Where the request is about someone other than the applicant, permission from that person or other evidence of eligibility to access that information must be provided. AnglicareSA archives is not open to the public but an appointment can be made to discuss the records.
