Apprenticing the Children of the Queen's Orphan Schools Amendment 1840, with the full title 'An Act to amend an Act passed in the Second Year of her present Majesty intituled An Act for apprenticing the Children of the Queen's Orphan Schools in this Island' (Act no. 4 Vict. No.8) primarily sets out the penalties for breaches of the Apprenticing the Children of the Queen's Orphan Schools 1838 (Act no. 2 Vict. No.27) for both apprentices and their employers. This act was repealed by The Queen's Asylum Act 1861 (Act no. 25 Vict. No.).
