Caption reads, 'Blarney House, which was a wartime hostel for servicemen in Melbourne, has been acquired by the Legacy Club for children of deceased servicemen. It is set in spacious grounds and at present has 13 boys and girls staying there. A nine-year-old boy ringing a ship's bell which calls the children from play to their meals.'
