Western Australia Votes and Proceedings 1882, Paper A6. This report by a Select Committee of the Legislative Assembly is published in the Votes and Proceedings of the Parliament in Western Australia. It documents the findings and recommendations of a Committee established to inquire into whether the Anglican Church ('Diocesan Trustees of the Church of England in Western Australia') should be allowed to sell the land given to them by the Government for the Perth Protestant Orphanage. The committee recommended that the Church be given control over the lands, to sell if they wished for any 'charitable object'.
