It also notes that the 'Government did rectify one shortcoming of the previous government's policy and will allow those who get Redress money to retain the right to sue the Government for compensation.' However, the editorial observes, even if people 'have the fortitude and resources to launch legal proceedings, a statute of limitations will stop many making such a claim.'
