[From the National Library of Australia's 'Bringing them home oral history project']

Edwards speaks about her grandmother who was removed from Noonkanbah, W.A. to Beagle Bay Mission at age 10, and about her mother who was removed to the dormitories at Beagle Bay Mission when she was aged 9. Edwards herself was placed at the Mission at age 3 and she lived there from 1957 until 1969. She describes the living conditions in the dormitories. In 1974, Edwards' own daughter was removed at the age of 2 days and the two were not re-united until 1994.
