This newsletter from Redress WA contains information about the process of assessment of the applications and how to accept a payment, and 'acknowledges that some applicants have felt disappointed with their ex-gratia offers' but 'trust having the chance to tell your story has assisted you in moving forward with your life.' Extra counseling support for applicants is also announced in the newsletter - 'up to three hours of individual counseling, free of charge' and places where this counseling could be accessed are listed.
Information is given about the National Library of Australia's oral history project and how to access records used by Redress WA in assessing applications.
