The Prisons Act Amendment Act 1969 (Act No.82/1969) was passed on 11 December 1969 and commenced 31 August 1970. The Principal Act was repealed by the Correctional Services Act 1982 on 19 August 1985.
The Prisons Act Amendment Act (No.2) 1969 (Act No.105/1969) was passed on 18 December 1969 and commenced 1 April 1970. The Principal Act was repealed by the Correctional Services Act 1982 on 19 August 1985.
The Mental Health Act Amendment Act 1969 (Act No.17/1969) was passed on 6 March 1969. In reference to the short title, item 1 in the Act states that ‘This Act may be cited as the “Mental Health Act Amendment Act, 1968”. The full title was ‘An Act to amend the Mental Health Act, 1935-1967’.
