Dahler Family Group Home, in Drayton, Toowoomba, was officially opened 27 September 1975. It was operated by the Methodist Church until June 1977, when operations were transferred to the Uniting Church. Dahler Family Group Home closed 30 June 1988.
Dahler Family Group Home opened as a Receiving, Assessment, Placement and Therapy residential in August 1995. It was later called Shannon House and in 2001 was owned by Perpetual Trustee. In 2001, it was an emergency residential service for young people.
