The Infant Life Protection Act 1915, No. 2670, sought to consolidate the Victorian laws relating to the protection of infant life (namely, the Infant Life Protection Acts of 1890 and 1907). It was a re-enactment of the Infant Life Protection Act 1907.
The long title is ‘An Act to consolidate the Law relating to the protection of Infant Life and for other purposes.’ It repealed the Infant Life Protection Act 1890, No.1198 and the Infant Life Protection Act 1907, No. 2102. It was amended by Act No. 2773, Act No. 2858, Act No. 3351 and Act No. 3605. It was repealed by the Children’s Welfare Act 1928, No. 3654.
