The Juvenile Offenders (Detention) Ordinance 1936 (Act no. 28/1936) was an amending act of the Juvenile Offenders (Detention) Ordinance 1935 (Act no. 4/1935). It became effective on 16 July 1936 and was repealed by the Juvenile Offenders Ordinance 1941 on 4 September 1941.
The Juvenile Offenders (Probation) Ordinance 1940 (Act no. 9/1940) commenced on 30 May 1940 and was repealed by the Child Welfare Ordinance 1957 on 1 March 1958. Its full title is ‘An Ordinance relating to Juvenile Offenders on Probation.’ This Act was repealed by the Child Welfare Ordinance 1957 on 1 March 1958.
The Children and Young People Amendment Act 2010 (No. 2) (Act no. 38/2010) commenced on 4 and 5 March 2010 and was repealed by the Legislation Act 2001 (Section 89 paragraph 1) on 6 March 2010.
The Children’s Services (Amendment) Act 1988 (Act no. 18/1988) varied the Children’s Services Ordinance 1986 on 26 April 1988 (Section 2). This ordinance became an ACT Act on 11 May 1989 (see Australian Capital Territory (Self-Government) Act 1988. It was repealed by Children and Young People (Consequential Amendments) Act 1999 on 10 May 2000.
